This past week was full of all sorts of sewing goodness. I finished tons of projects, and sew-cialized lots!
I don't know if you are participating in the Sew Weekly Reunion, but I sure am! When the original Sew Weekly was going on, I wasn't blogging yet (and was barely sewing) so I never participated. I was so excited to see that there was a reunion, and I can't wait to take part in the challenges.
As with any good sewing collaboration, there was a patterns/notion swap. My swap partner, curlsnskirls sent me an enormous box of patterns, notions, yarn, and fabric! I am such a lucky girl! I've been dreaming and scheming since it came in the mail. I'm thinking the Butterick reissue on top would be perfect for the lace I got from Mood for my birthday, and that sweatshirt knit is just waiting to be my newest dying experiment!
In case you live under a rock and missed it, Saturday was MPB day! Tons of bloggers from near and far came to NYC to say hi, check out the FIT museum, and fabric shop til we dropped! I met some awesome ladies who I can't wait to see again, and the one and only Peter from Male Pattern Boldness who organized the whole thing. Thanks Peter! It was a blast! If you weren't there, get there next time!
