This month, I've tried to make two (2!!) white blouses to fill the gaping gap in my wardrobe.

So, are the sewing gods really just trying to tell me something here? Should I quit trying to make stupid white shirts, and only sew fabulous dresses with prints all over them? Are separates really just a waste? Should I just buy a white shirt?
If, by chance you are willing to anger the sewing gods, and would like to recommend the perfect pattern, please leave me a comment. I'm looking for something without lots of fussy facings, that can be made in a variety of fabrics, and has sleeve options for multiple seasons. If at all possible, I'd also like it to take up less than 2 yards of fabric, have some sort of visual interest, and be a pretty quick sew. Pretty please??
